Can we all applaud Richie Samboras guitar playing but also his backing vocals on this tune.

It's absolutely about touring. "On a steel horse I ride" - tour bus. "A loaded six-string on my back" - his guitar. "I've seen a million faces, and I've rocked them all." - yes he did.

They wanted to use this song for the movie “Young Guns”, Bon Jovi said it didn’t fit and wrote a different song just for it. It’s called “Blaze of Glory”.

It's 1987. I'm 17, a senior in high school, and BonJovi is in concert in Huntsville, Alabama 25 miles away. My car decides to crap out so me and my best friend double up on his Motorcycle and make the concert. WORTH IT!

Richie Sambora's vocals are always overlooked. He was such a big part of the appeal of this band. He also has a great solo career. Stranger in this town, ballad of youth, are all great songs to check out.

“Wanted dead or alive” means to me that when you’re a musician, you have to constantly perform, no matter how exhausted you are. Fans still expect you to perform.

Its about touring I believe they did 300 shows in one year when this was written. IMHO this is the best Bon Jovi song, a masterpiece for the ages.

I love her face, but not just because she is very pretty, but because it's so expressive. Many times, you can tell what she's thinking without her even saying a word. Great reactions, Stacey.

The acoustic version they performed in 89 at the MTV VMA's is legendary and started the whole MTV Unplugged format that was so popular in the 90s and led to some amazing performances.

Just a hell of a cool song.

This song got me through going out in a steel horse Humve in Iraq and seeing millions of faces and rocking them. It's a song I listen to before and after a mission. It kept me sane when in the desert of Iraq and the wild west of this very sad place.
