I beg to differ. He wasn’t a creep in Lars and the real Girl, he was an innocent. That was one of his best movies, and was heartbreaking.

I'm glad he broke out of that cycle of being typecast as the quiet storm, stoic toughguy one step away from going nuclear throughout the 2010s. Directors saw him in Drive and tried to keep him boxed in that one tone. Like directors have done with Giancarlo Esposito when they saw Gus in Breaking Bad.

He’s good at being human - something I thing most actors miss. You can embody a roll to perfection, but if you leave being a person at the door, something is missing.<br><br>For whatever character he plays, he’s still just a person too, and it makes him someone to connect with.

I used to think he was just a heartthrob, a pretty boy and then I saw the Nice Guys, Drive...the list goes on. His talent to truly embody the character he is playing is really good. He's become one of my favorite actors.
