Hannah, the term I have used my entire adult life (and I am seventy-seven at this point) for what you're doing is this: You have removed a few stays from your corset. Good on you! I like where you are taking yourself.

I love how you overthink things but not from a place of fear. From a place of curiosity. Every object is a poem I guess

Also, the blue pillow makes the chair look brown. Before when you said it was brown I thought that chair was charcoal. Now it feels like it blends with the couch and walls better.

The best style advice I ever heard was "Buy only what you love." When I've done that, I've found that most everything starts to magically go together.

Your home looks not only gorgeous but also cozy and comfortable. Without the extra touches, it would have looked too austere for my own taste. Some people like that (or maybe are just afraid?).

When you buy only what you love, you don't have to worry if it's in style or wonder if it fits a particular aesthetic.

Your recent videos have made me want more home content, so I'm delighted for this peak into some beautiful corners!
I find myself drawn to the clean simplicity of organic modern, but I love that reframing it with a sense of humor and dash of practicality makes it feel so much more real and ultimately comfortable.

As a long time follower and a fashion obsessed interior designer I LOVED this video. I love seeing more of your home. You have a great eye for design and the goose is perfection. Thank you.

100% agree with goose placement being better than if it had been centred! It's all so lively :)

I also moved into a house from an apartment semi-recently (been here for a year and a half) and I've been struggling to decorate. I haven't really decorated or furnished a home as an adult, and it felt super overwhelming. Every purchase started to feel high-stakes and I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to make every space perfect. But then I bought ONE piece of art for no reason other than it made me ✨feel✨something. Not because it was the right size or colour-scheme or even what I would consider my style. I just felt drawn to it. And that like...cracked something inside me. It made decorating feel so much easier. Now I only buy something if I feel drawn to it, even if I can't explain why. But now I can't believe I never thought to apply this concept to my wardrobe?!!? Like shouldn't everything I own and interact with make me feel something?

"I let go of perfection and I found something better" - love that. ❤❤❤

Just love where your confidence is meeting your sense of humor with the location of the bathroom goose!

Love this. I am often torn between the minimalist, organic-chic aesthetic and a quirky, colour-clash playfulness. This demonstrates perfectly how they can combine harmoniously
