  Thank you, Hannah, for inserting your intellect and critical thinking into your coverage of trends.  The corporate side of fashion makes no secret of their willingness to give us all a case of sharp whiplash as we turn from Spring-and-Summer to Autumn-and-Winter.  You have a gentleness as you offer us thoughts on economics, logic, history, and art, information we can, if we wish, use to lift chain after chain from our human bodies and minds and bank accounts.  We have choices about what we wear that are outside the scope of those who make billions of dollars on our purchases.  I enjoyed your YAY or NAY video very much.

  My rule for trousers with an elasticated waist is that they must also have belt loops. Not only does this increase the versatility of the trouser, but if the brand went to the additional effort to add the belt loops then I have greater confidence in the rest of the garment.

  Nay on the funnel neck. I don't have a long, elegant neck and I struggle to keep funnel necks off of lipstick and face makeup. 😐

  Hannah, I have noticed a significant shift in your content that I have also noticed in my own interest right alongside it from beauty/makeup content to fashion/style content. I’m SO into this shift in your channel, love your fashion content so much. But I have also noticed this shift in many other channels and maybe in the YT industry at large?, though it’s hard to tell because of the way the algorithm gnomes control what we see and don’t. I would love to hear your commentary on this shift, for yourself and maybe for the larger social media video watching society?

  Even as someone who looks terrible in what is traditionally included in "earth tones" I love the meaning (for all the things you brought up) behind this call or, if it we must call it so, "trend". I just do jeweltones. Pretty  colorful shiny rocks come from the earth too.

  That dad plaid is so aptly named. I've been watching my dad mixing his plaid and stripes for so many years that I really appreciate the harmony it can create. Plus, going into winter, it just feels homey and creative.

  My thing with draw string pants is the draw string. I wish they&apos;d put it <b>inside</b> the waistband because it&apos;s difficult to style around. I get it for comfort &amp; adjustability but who wants a white shoe lace looking thing right at the waist of their dark pants? I actually have some nice linen draw string pants &amp; some joggers that probably fit your definition of undesirable fabrics &amp; the draw strings are at least the same color as the pants. But overall, in an easy fit pull on type of pant (which I am preferring more &amp; more as time goes on) I prefer a slightly wide but flat waistband with some darting. Very comfortable to wear, easy to style up or down, looks like a trouser but feels like a track pant. Love it. But yeah, kind of over a visible draw string on anything that isn&apos;t a beach or pajama pant. I am also looking for a track pant that isn&apos;t nylon or polyester.
