  For those wondering what the deal was with FDR.  History MOSTLY tells you how great he was for being the president for most of WW2 and the INITIAL stabilizing the economy after the stock market crash of 1929.  However, after a few years, the policies he put into place, the political manipulation of the Supreme Court to stack the court in his favor, several of his policies actually caused the "Great Depression" to last LONGER than it would have lasted without his manipulation of the banks/markets.  So yeah, there were a LOT of things he did that ended up being horrible and politically questionable. BUT that gets overlooked because of his success of keeping the USA OUT of the first parts of WW2 like the public wanted, THEN being the President WHILE the USA was winning WW2.

  I little brother was at a boy scout camp and they served them vegetables lasagna. To this day my family is baffled by someone thinking that was a good idea.
