  I swear advent calendars are just an excuse for companies to get rid of their overstock of sample sizes and charge you for them(usually out the wazoo).

  the shoe one is egregious... you dont even get the damn shoes for christmas, and theyre ugly?? i can only see the black shoes looking good with the turquoise bottoms and that's just because i like hatsune miku

  caviar is an evil, evil food. Sturgeon used to be so plentiful caviar was served for free at dive bars, they're ancient fish native to the beautiful US as well as other parts of the world who have been hunted to near extinction for their eggs. the shift of caviar from a cheap snack to a ridiculously expensive one was BECAUSE we kill them without allowing them to reproduce, we created a false scarcity and marketed it as luxury. Sturgeon have lifespans similar to humans and the females reach their reproductive age at a similar time to human girls as well, which is usually when they're cut open to get their eggs out and the rest is thrown away. a living being allowed to live in captivity for almost 20 years and harvested for only it's reproductive organs which are a luxury food, this isn't an acceptable way to treat the animals we should be thanking for nourishing us!!! I want the next generation of Midwesterners to see these noble monsters from dinosaur times in the Great Lakes just like I did growing up :)

I would also be super disappointed if they opened them all at once instead of one a day.

  i like the turquoise soles/heels honestly i just feel it demands a bolder shoe, not beige mom ballet flats. you gotta have more fun with something like that

  when i was growing up an advent calendar was like. a lil 2d cardstock house you&apos;d open the perforated windows of to get a little piece of chocolate. and it was 8 dollars which was already kinda not worth it. what happened
