I just sent the $20k over to Feeding America! We were able to raise over $38k! Great work everyone!

Fun fact about Santa: bad kids would get coal because it was enough to keep them warm and alive, but not enough to keep them actively entertained and happy.
Edit - this was primarily Victorian era England that this was the reason I believe, idr off the top of my head

This is why I say the Grinch was actually a Christmas hero and not a villain. He was just against consumerism

Fun fact: What you call "dynamic pricing" is literally illegal. According to the FTC's "Guide Against Deceptive Pricing" which includes rules against false discounts where the price is inflated and then on sale AND when there isnt actually a sale but it's advertised as such.
Do with that what you will.

i just love when people blame the employees for starbucks artificially inflating the price of a cup they could easily mass produce

Starbucks also issued a statement where they blamed shortages of the bear cups on employees buying them. Hmmmm, why would they try to turn the public against their workforce as they're trying to unionize??? 🤔

My mom's rule was that if there wasn't a price, it wasn't for sale. If she went into a store and saw that nothing had prices, she would just leave.

For anyone considering donating to Funky's fundraiser for Feeding America, it's a great cause. I live in a rural area, about 10 years ago a flood took out almost a whole town close to me. Feeding America showed up with boxes of non-perishables and self-heating meal kits for hundreds of people. If I'm not mistaken, volunteers with that organization also helped with the cleanup where they could.

Santa is a literal communist. He even gives "naughty" people coal, a genuine resource.

Working in retail basically means that youre apologizing one million times a day for problems that are almost never your fault. 🥰
