  It&apos;s hilarious how accurate your analysis of Linebeck is lol yes he is an adventurer, a man or the sea, but he&apos;s a fat coward who&apos;s all talk and no bite. He&apos;s motivated by greed and the desire for wealth, but in the end he does end up standing up for what&apos;s right and being courageous, even if just for a split second

  You hit the nail on the head when you were talking about the Song of Healing. You mentioned that it kind of slipped through your fingers and it had a sense of healing not necessarily being a happy thing. In the game, you use it multiple times on people who are dying or who are already dead. This song is used to push people to let go and finally move on.

  You ARE right about the Song of Healing being an inverted song but it isn&apos;t Epona. It&apos;s actually Saria&apos;s or Ocarina of Time&apos;s rendition of Lost Woods to be a little more specific. For a bit of context, Saria is the only best friend of N64 Link and doesn&apos;t discriminate him for not having a fairy like everyone else in Kokiri Forest, which is a magical forest where immortal children live that turns outsiders into horrid monsters if they get lost from going deeper.

  I love the whole ethos of Ballad of the Goddess. Zelda&apos;s theme, or her LULLABY was sung by her mother to put the fussy baby Zelda to sleep. Ballad of the Goddess, and most of the main quest of Skyward Sword, is to revive and awaken Zelda.<br><br>So by reversing Zelda&apos;s Lullaby, you&apos;re essentially on a quest to wake Zelda.<br><br>Brilliant on both a songwriting and a conceptual level.

  Koji Kondo writes a very straightforward story in his zelda music. Song of healing is somber and mature but hopeful. The forest music is playful and wonderous while danger lurks in the darkness. Hes a bloody genius about that stuff.

  For the Song of Healing, I think you hit some points both contextually and I might daresay spiritually- the Song of Healing is a melody that gets played at several times in the game, and they all kinda revolve around death- be it the dying, the already dead, or even a transformation from one form to another (which is abstractedly a death, kinda), And the game itself is largely a reflection of that, death and the acceptance of it to various degrees. So when you hear the Song of Healing its not necessarily about &quot;being healed&quot; on a physical level, but a somber <s>and perhaps reluctant</s> acceptance of death, be it for the dying, the dead, for yourself, or the realization of a missing loved one will not return.<br><br>The Song of Healing always hit hard for me because it was always so much more than a simple &quot;play this and feel better&quot;, its the big breath right before you try to accept how the world currently is without your loved one.

  Probably got mentioned by now, but Zelda&apos;s ALL about reoccuring leitmotifs and songs, and that build you liked at the start of the Hyrule Warriors song is one of them! Specifically it&apos;s the theme that always plays as Link obtains the Master Sword, a leitmotif used since A Link to the Past. Other prominent leitmotifs are (of course) the Main Theme and Zelda&apos;s Lullaby, and songs like Kakariko Village from A Link to the Past and Saria&apos;s Song/Lost Woods from Ocarina of Time pop up all the time as well. In fact, you heard one of them in this video as well, the Song of Healing from Majora&apos;s Mask is just Saria&apos;s Song in reverse. Which, well, you can see they also like doing as Ballad of the Goddess does the same thing with Zelda&apos;s Lullaby.~

  The Hyrule Warriors part is the wrong Hyrule Warriors footage lol The song is from Age of Calamity, not the first game haha
