  I swear this movie hits way harder as an adult 😭 Did Brother Bear make you emotional too or was it just me? What other movies that make you cry should I react to?

  My favorite thing about this movie is they use actual Eagle 🦅 sounds.<br><br>Not Red Hawk sounds.

  Fun fact this was the one of the first few movies that Joaquin Phoenix did after his brother River died. You know this one hit him hard. That&apos;s why it was so emotional.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64a1RtmVM8k&amp;t=657">10:57</a> I don&apos;t think the spirits were upset about Kenai taking the bear&apos;s life so much as why he took the bear&apos;s life. He didn&apos;t kill the bear out of self-defense or for any other survival reason, he killed out of hatred and revenge, the complete opposite of his totem.

  Even as a 32 year old, I still cry at this movie. The scene where Kenai is telling Koda about his mom always gets me.

  If you go to the Wiki page for Brother Bear, apparently Kenai, Denahi and Sitka&apos;s mom &amp; dad died when Kenai was really young. So Sitka had to step up and practically raise him and Denahi.<br><br>So when Sitka sacrificed himself to stop the Bear, the boys didn&apos;t just lose their big brother. They lost another parent.

  What I really appreciate about this movie is how it shows that love, especially when it comes to destiny, isn’t always romantic. That’s something you don’t see very often, and it makes the story feel even more special. I really enjoyed your video, by the way!

They always want something or are just evil, but that’s not the case for Denahi. Denahi wasn’t a villain, he was a grieving brother who felt crushing guilt over the death of his younger brother. Imagine thinking you blamed your younger sibling for the death of your older one, and suddenly that very sibling (supposedly) dies by the same means. You can see by the way he treats Kenai in bear form, he’s under the impression that Kenai is the bear that killed “his brothers”. As the movie goes on, his hatred and despair cripples his judgement to the point he nearly freezes to death, jumps a ravine, and actively hunts one of natures toughest predators for revenge.<br><br>Denahi wasn’t a villain, he was a brother broken at the loss of his family and desperately trying to avenge them
