Yes I’m a 1950 ELO player as well and we all never stop learning. My favourite player of all times was Jose Capablanca.

My attitude and why I don't get better:<br>1. Capture to make the position too complex to calculate so I'm not sure if I'm losing<br>2. Sacrifice without calculating, it could make me look cool if it works out<br>3. Hope that white's knight takes my bishop to solve my worst piece problem<br>4. This game is going on too long, trade into an endgame without checking if it's winning
