  The "magic opening" didn't "crush" the opponent in this game.  In fact, black stood solidly equal at move 17 and even much better later in the game.  White's feel-good attack, objectively speaking, doesn't really yield anything tangible in this game.  The truth is that TACTICAL MISTAKES are what make the difference more often than not.  Yevhenii takes advantage of those kinds of situations much more efficiently than us sub-2200 players do!

  I saw this opening on another channel, try it and it really works for me. It is not just the opening but I understand the concept of the middle game here, always know what my goal is and what to do, while in other openings like e4 I do well in the beginning, but then have no idea what to do and play randomly.

  Isn&apos;t that the best way to learn chess? to play the most varied and studied opening move? notice I didn&apos;t say &apos;best&apos; opening move because e4 and d4 are actually quite equal in that respect. e4 leads to open and attacking games , which is best for beginners to any level. d4 leads to closed games which is best for experts to any level.

  A nice lecture on this system. But let&apos;s be fair. Your win had nothing to do with the opening. You would beat him in any opening because you calculate deeper and wider. It was more a nice lecture on good one needs to be able to calculate in chess. Inspiring on opening ideas and how to calculate.

  the reason he thought about bb5 pinning the knight and immediately rejected it is because qa5 check would pick the bishop up, as there&apos;s no knight at c3 guarding it.
