You appear to convey the impression that a hook is a powerful blow. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceOXLDbe95o&t=780">13:00</a> Shankland's point was that a hook was a weakness. Kmoch's notion of the pawn lever is an alternative terminology, by the way.
