Would you trust this as your main portable HF radio, or would you spend more for something else?

  What more could you ask for, The Ridge ARC (W4RRC), Rodger, Broken Signal, Fleet Talk by Rock, the Lake, and ARRL Field Day! I have always heard great things about the G90. I bought a couple of the FT-891s instead which gave me 100 watts, but no tuner. Good looking radio, thanks for the video!

  Hi, &nbsp;I am a new HAM VA2TMD. &nbsp;I just got my G90 and I am receiving really well. &nbsp;But I got that same problem you mentioned in the video. &nbsp;I am convinced my settings are good. &nbsp;I too a good time learning the system &nbsp;but &nbsp;I am having trouble transmitting. &nbsp; What is it you had done to make it transmit? &nbsp;Any help really appreciated.

  G90 is a good first buy radio to get your feet wet. &nbsp;And good for a quick deployment radio. &nbsp;I own one and the XPA <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnSTirDk3os&amp;t=952">15:52</a> &nbsp;amplifier. &nbsp; I typically don’t use the amplifier as much. &nbsp; If you find you like amateur radio after using the G90 for awhile then you’ll make the jump to a radio that can do more. &nbsp;I own a &nbsp;FTDX-10. &nbsp;Love that radio. &nbsp;But it’s so much easier unpacking the G90 than it is the DX-10. &nbsp;<br>Enjoy it the new radio, I sure do.<br>Bob<br>KD2WBZ
