Symbian OS is one of my starting points in programming, I can run python on that phone.

Owned a Psion Series 3 back in the day and my first smartphone was the 7650, that thing was a powerhouse. When people first saw it they always asked why it was so big, but once they saw what it could do they were usually pretty impressed. Owned a bunch of different S60 phones over the years, happy days.

Nokia would have been in the market if it were to keep selling what it was used to sell. At list 20 %of current maker would have option for Android and ios

Symbian, as a smartphone OS is still the best most efficient. And actually qualifies as an RTOS. <br>And now, with memory (storage and RAM) prices skyrocketing, and probably will never normalize, I think we should bring Symbian back.

It's quite possible that the company was suppressing new voices and was listening only to its old employees. <br><br>Old and loyal employees can easily sink the company as they are not questioned and the management thinks that they can't be wrong.<br><br>Old employees also function as nexus often bypassing the standard policies and running a parallel governance. <br><br>They do this to protect their job but they end up sinking the company.

I went to the Symbian OS expo in London October 2007. Mainly because there was a free aftershow party. Met a chap at the party who had an iPhone, which was the first version amd US import, and the first time i got to see it and I was impressed, so got one when it came out a month or so later. Also met the HTC UK sales manager (or similar titled) there, as he spotted me using my windows powered HTC P3300 taking photos of the taking O2 centre across the Thames 😂.
