  My favorite little part about the Hannibal reveal in the ambulance is they say his pulse is 84 and earlier in the movie Chilton says his heart rate never went above 85 when attacking the nurse.

  The important thing to remember is that Criminal Minds and all those other crime procedurals would not exist without this movie or the original books. This is the inspiration. It was a total game changer.

  I worked in a max prison for 25 years. <br>We had a special dedicated shower stocked with antibacterial soaps, mouthwash and shampoos along with a supply of sweat suits to change into for staff and volunteers who had bodily fluids or other nastiness flung at them. I always managed to duck such things. I do not miss it.

  Hopkins once went to a cinema where he sat behind a woman who was terrified the entire film, and when the credits rolled, and she got up to leave, he asked her &quot;so, did you like the film?&quot; and scared the beejesus out of her. I also met the guy that played the Chilton sleazebag, and he couldn&apos;t have been a nicer dude.

  It&apos;s incredible to realize that Anthony Hopkins gave such a compelling performance here -- yet he had only 16 minutes of screen time.
