  Fun fact: the two guys outside the convenience store drinking big gulps weren't extras. They were just two random guys watching the shooting and Jim Carrey improved the line.

  I just read Trivia for this movie. The movie that Lloyd saw, that taught him the check trick used on Seabass, was a movie staring Jeff Daniels. Something wild, from 1985.

  One of my favorite things about this movie, which is unlike most movies, is that they are actually worse off at the end.  There is no real personal growth, resolution or happy ending for the two of them in their journey.  lol

  The Farrelly brothers also did another one called, "There's Something About Mary." It's a crazy comedy, and worth watching (Ben Stiiler)

  What I love is that other than the one scene where Lloyd breaks down about his loneliness...there is NO way I can take this film seriously. &nbsp;Well paced, quirky, steady supply of gags, perfect combo of slapstick and clever one liners...<br><br>Verily this, gentlemen, is a great comedy! &nbsp;Love how you guys get it.

  Something I have always found striking, but a tribute to Jeff Daniels as an actor is a comparison of him in this, then later the movie &quot;Gettysburg&quot; with the epic battle during the American Civil War. &nbsp;He plays LtCol Joshua Chamberlain, who saved the Union flank from getting rolled up. &nbsp;His speech to his men just prior to the stand at Little Round Top was great and well-performed. &nbsp;Chamberlain was a college professor and politician from Maine who volunteered to join the Union Army. He became a highly respected and decorated Union officer, reaching the final rank of brigadier general (and brevet major general). He is best known for his gallantry leading the bayonet charge, for which he was awarded the Medal of Honor. &nbsp;Then you see Dumb &amp; Dumber and it&apos;s hard to believe it&apos;s the same man.

  The gentleman that portrayed the character of &quot;Seabass&quot;is named Cam Neely. He played 13 years in the NHL and was inducted into the NHL Hall of Fame in 2005. Wish they did cameos liike this now.

  Farrelly brothers made some amazingly funny movies. There&apos;s Something About Mary is a must, and Me, Myself, and Irene is a Jim Carry masterpiece.

  I saw this movie with my dad in theaters in 1994 when I was a kid. The audience reaction to Harry on the toilet was the most roaring, side-splitting laughter I remember being a part of in a cinema up until today.
