  In regards to the flag..Because the French were some of the most brutal slave owners. Remember Hati is still struggling after the French fined them millions for wanting their freedom. Once you do a deep dive into slavery you'll be looking at every country with a side eye

  Honestly, in a lot of cases, I can never view a movie as like &quot;Oh this was fine&quot; whenever the &quot;twist&quot; of the movie is the villain was actually the protag who seemingly has DID because &quot;OoOoOOoo scary mental disorder!!&quot; Like, it&apos;s so yucky how you can almost NEVER find good DID rep, it&apos;s played for &quot;horror&quot; so often and just demonises the disorder and keeps people from wanting to get help or even feel comfortable with themselves!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg5Shsc5LRk&amp;t=980">16:20</a> : (french who grew up in the countryside here) the confederate flag is crazy and definitly not a thing here (I would say about 30 to 50% of people here would not recognize what a confederate flag is, and racist/supremacist usually pick hateful, historical symbols from european/french history). So yes very curious indeed about this one !
