Excellent book recounting a terrible tragic day. Jon is not responsible for the decisions of others, especially the leaders. It's astounding that Beck Weathers survived after being left for dead several times.

Wordsmith wise, the best book that I’ve ever read. Not a single word wasted. When it came out I was taking the train to work and almost every seat had someone reading it.

I recently finished reading Into Thin Air after having watched the 2015 film Everest. As someone who isn’t a mountain climber but loves reading about and watching documentaries about mountain climbing, it fascinated me to say the least.
