An incredible and well-deserved tribute to the Sherpa community. It was an absolute honor for our team at 14 Peaks Expedition to organize and support the logistics for Cecilia Vega and the @60 Minutes crew on this journey to Everest Base Camp. I once tutored the son of a former Sherpa. He was such a hopeful and respectful young man who wanted to do the best for his family. Rich white lady sponsored the family to move to the U.S. and restart their lives.
