The guy singing the very high "Galileos", was Roger taylor, the drummer.

One of rock's all time masterpieces. Nothing compares to this single before or since.

***Bohemian Rhapsody is truly a once in a lifetime masterpiece*** The beginning is “A cappella” - 2nd is “Ballad” - 3rd is “Operatic” - 4th is “Hard rock and 5th is “Coda” - And there’s the genius. It’s not a song. It’s a “piece of art, never to be duplicated”. (((Great Reaction)))

If u watched the comedy movie "Wayne's World" from 1992... 'Bohemian rhapsody' was on the soundtrack and became a hit single again since its initial release in 1975 ... The Queen biopic 'Bohemian rhapsody'... starred Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in 2018 and made the single a hit a 3rd time.
So, Freddie Mercury wrote 'Bohemian rhapsody' as a piano ballad initially after Queen released their 3rd album 'Sheer Heart Attack' in 1974 ... but when Queen went into the studio in 1975, Freddie was inspired by opera music and kept adding parts to the track... He enlisted both Brian May (guitar) and Roger Taylor (drums) for the operatic section in the middle and they worked to add layers of vocal tracks, singing for hours on end and ended up w/ over 180 overdubs on the tape (The master tape was worn thin and they had to make a copy, so the track was not lost) ...Freddie Mercury added layers of his own vocals for the song's intro... Freddie called 'Bohemian rhapsody' a "mock opera".

In 1975, Queen wanted 'Bohemian rhapsody' as the first single for their 4th album 'A night at the opera'... which was the most expensive record made in history to that date and left the band in debt... The problem was that 'Bohemian rhapsody' was 6 minutes long and British radio at the time was not receptive to putting songs on the air longer than 4 minutes.
So, Queen gave a copy of 'Bohemian rhapsody' to a prominent British DJ who had supported the band and once he started playing it, the requests blew up and it went to #1 on the UK singles charts... and charted #9 in the US... 'A night at the opera' became Queen's first platinum-selling record worldwide and their first 3 albums ('Queen' ... 'Queen II'... 'Sheer Heart Attack') all went into the charts by 1976 and made Queen superstars overnight.

It’s been in several movies, tv and commercials. The “Wayne’s World” movie gave it another life many years ago.

Greetings from Portugal MJ. Freddie died in 1991 😔, but in 2017, in London, 65000 people sing this MASTERPIECE in unison!
The scene was the city’s Hyde Park, where the massive crowd had gathered to hear a Green Day concert (an american punk-rock band). While waiting for the band to take the stage, the song starts to sound from the concert speakers and so the audience began to sing the Queen classic—in its entirety.
It's AMAZING! The video is available on the Green Day YouTube official channel if you would like to see it (I highly recommend it 😉).
Next song for you to react to? For me it got to be "Innuendo".
Keep rockin. Peace 🤘🖤

Unlike my friends who roll their eyes and moan if I ask them to listen to something they've never heard before, I can come here and thoroughly enjoy watching you listen to music you haven't heard before. We get to share something we love, something that moved us, with others! This is so much fun!!!
