  A remark about the top 10 most obese countries. Most of them are island states that traditionally had no obesity problems at all... until the USA swooped in and introduced fast food.

The reason you don&apos;t see us drinking water is because we drink it at home, or at work, we don&apos;t bring water bottles everywhere we go. Unless we go for hikes, or something like that. And a lot of the people that you see when you are visiting a major tourist spot IS OTHER TOURISTS.

  American bread is designed to survive the apocalypse. It doesn’t need flavour or actual bread texture—it just needs to remain technically edible for several geological eras without developing so much as a hint of mould. It can soak up water, be wrung out, and still be used again as a sponge, a pillow, or eventually, presumably, a sandwich.<br><br>European bread, meanwhile, takes one splash of water and immediately turns to mush. Give it a couple of days and it starts growing its own ecosystem. Leave it long enough and the mould takes over—which is fine, because apparently that’s the point: the mould is useful for treating wounds.<br><br>American bread is food, survival equipment and emergency shelter all in one. European bread is basically a delicious countdown to penicillin.

  I&apos;m almost certain that Americans actually don&apos;t like coffee. They dilute it with massive amounts of ice, syrups, creams, just about anything to kill the taste of the coffee. I just drink hot black coffee, nothing in it except a second, or third, or fourth shot of coffee.

  &quot;Ice Coffee&quot; ??? Let&apos;s be honest, the mix drink US citizens tend to call coffee is; 5 different syrups, 3 different creamers, several forms of sugar (High fructose corn syrup, is a must), if you are lucky 1 whole drop of drip coffee and in most cases all of that crap in a gallon mug that was filled up with ice cubes to start with. In the rest of the world, nobody calls that junk coffee. Iced coffee imho is a crime as coffee is by its nature a hot drink.<br>On the idiotic water over consumption by US citizens. It is probably due to the processed chemicals and fossil fuel derivatives you tend to call food, which seemingly dehydrates the body quite a bit. Decent food, properly eaten (meaning not on the go, but sit down take time to eat), means less dehydration thus less of a need to drink water.

  I think the 3 million Americans who live/work overseas should all go home, take over the government and show them how to do it. &nbsp;Bring all they&apos;ve learned about workers&apos; rights, work/life balance and, of course, health and put it into action in the US.

  Starbucks in EU is for tourists mainly.<br>And all that insane amount of water and iced drinks is important for people who have such low quality food, cause they need to flush it ;)<br>As soon as people life half a year in EU, there bodies get accustomed to real food and they stop feeling the need for all that extra water.
