  I have 2 Taurus TX22s! One has almost 19.000 rounds through it! Still runs like a clock! Will eat anything you put in it! Awesome range and practice toy!

  I broke out laughing when you showed the photo of that chamber and called it anti-polish. It genuinely looked so bad it was as if somebody tried to make it worse. When I get burned this bad I usually also try to include a review with photos on every online retailer that allows it.

  Yup! I’ve had two, bought at different times from different places. (I really wanted to like this gun😂) Both had excessive lead fouling. Both sent back to Smith, barrels replaced and sold. Thanks for your honesty my man. 😊👊🏾

  Very similar problem to what some people were having with the early Sig P322 pistols. Some ran great (mine included), but some reviews on YouTube were having the very early leading issues regardless of ammo and terrible accuracy. Spotty QC<br><br>Update: I bought one of these. Had the bad leading problem as well. Hard as crap to get the bbl clean, until I remembered how some of the hand loaders who cast lead bullets clean their bbls. while at the range: they run some copper jacketed bullets down the barrel after firing several cylinders of lead cast bullets. I cleaned the bbl enough at home to get most of the leading out to where I could pass a boresnake down it, then I brought it to the range with some CCI Uppercuts. These are true, jacketed 22 bullets. Worked like a charm. I used a fiber optic rod to verify the bbl was free of lead. <br><br>Now, with this gun in particular, I load up regular 22 ammo that I want to shoot at the range, but the last 5 rds. of a 50-round session, I load with 5 Uppercuts. If I am shooting pretty clean ammo, like CCI Standard velocity, I&apos;ll let it go to 100-125 rds before running 5 Uppercuts through. I keep a boresnake, solvent, and a fiber optic rod with me if I&apos;ve not shot a particular ammo with this gun until I see if it wants to lead of not.

  I have a 22x and it&apos;s been awesome. Not 1 single issue with about 300 rounds through it so far. I&apos;ve seen mixed reviews with the 22x. Some people have had issues with it and some people haven&apos;t.

  I understand the disgust, I had purchased a new Ruger SR22, cutest little SOG. I am no super marksman, but with a decent 22 at 10 yards I can usually put them real close to the same hole. It was shooting 2-3 inch patterns, you couldn&apos;t really call it groups, with a number of going through the target keyholed. I took the gun home and disassembled it and found a bright shiny bore with no rifling. I found an aftermarket barrel for it and it morphed into one of the funnest guns I own, but S&amp;W isn&apos;t the only with QC issues. I feel your pain.

  B/S: I purchased one for my grandson to use at our local indoor range. We have shot at least 1K rounds so far without ANY problems or jams. You just received a defective single unit.

  I&apos;m also no gunsmith but I&apos;ve had a fair amount of experience. It almost looks like those bullets were tumbling inside the barrel which would account why when the projectile would start to nosedive you&apos;d wind up with a &nbsp;accumulation on one side. Gotta love it when somebody tries putting 22 cylinder on the 32 barrel.

  I have a browning19 11–22 black label love that gun! feeds everything there was a pretty good break-in. I think it’s around 300 rounds cleaned after every hundred but I love that gun
