I have bone on bone hip osteoarthritis in both hips. I have absolutely NO plans on having a hip replacement unless I break my hip. The information I have garnered since I started watching Dr. David's videos have been a huge help. I've spent the past 50 years doing various types of exercises and working out at the gym. I've just recently realized that many of the things I was doing have led to the damage I'm experiencing now. It's never too late to change your ways. It's a one day at a time process...Thanks for the information.

I am 70 years young a little over a month ago I asked AI to recommend exercises for hip-arthritis that I can follow on YouTube. Your channel was one of the recommendations. Here I am over a month later and I activated my glutes. I can flex them one at a time or both at once. I could participate in the GLUTE Olympics!😅 I have been super active all my life, when I found out I have left hip arthritis, I was baffled. After watching many of your videos, I realised I caused my own arthritis. I am a perfect case for muscle imbalance. My front is super strong and my behind is like a "pancake" flat.😂😂😂😂. I was able to hold the plank for 4:30 min. Now I am only working on my GLUTES every day. I still feel some pain, but it is manageable, I don't need to take any medications, sleep through the nights like a baby. Thank you for the videos.

You are so right!!! I received PT for knee and hip arthritis on one side, and until I wised up I used to leave the session in pain. I finally learned to weed out the leg lifts with ankle weights, and worst of all was the leg press with one leg for developing the quads. I was in agony after that. Thank you for being out there to educating people.

I had 2 years of hip pain, got so bad at point I couldn’t walk, went to an experienced physio that treats professional athletes and straight away identified weak glutes. I focused on glutes, one exercise that helped massively was weighted hip raises, a silver bullet exercise for me and after 2 weeks, the 2 years of hip pain was gone, now 3 years later no hip pin BUT it requires a lifestyle change and a commitment to doing the required exercises. This is where people fail, they see improvement and then get lazy and fall back to old habits

I followed your advice. The hip surgery that was planned is no longer necessary after a year of doing the exercises, and I no longer need painkillers. I still have some pain when moving sideways, but it’s not too bad.

I’d also like to confirm that the exercises you advise against really are bad for the hips—they cause me pain, so I don’t do them.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your advice!
