This gives me such a cool idea: What if greed really IS what makes things sink? The more valuable an item is and the greedier a creature is, the faster it sinks. Imagine everyone having trouble moving through the mud and filth then the monk wearing only his tattered robes and having exactly what he needs and nothing more just gracefully walking across the muck

I've always found it interesting that swamps and other wetlands are considered to be full of death in a lot of fantasy settings when, in reality, they are full of life and very important for maintaining biodiversity

Mammon is the embodiment of a bad middle manager. Takes credit for the work of others, sucks up to the boss and belittles his employees. He simply sits in the back office and rarely does anything. 😂

A neat detail is that Mammon is the biblical devil linked with greed, and the Hebrew meaning of the word "mammon" is a large amount of money
