  I can't express how much I love Hags, my favorite DnD monster by far. They're incredibly versatile monsters and a creative DM can do so much to give them personality. I particularly love the weird magic Hags can use.

  I have a Green Hag named Griny Ginny, she serves as dangerous but reliable source of information and means of testing the campaigns she&apos;s involved in.<br>She looks like a standard Green hag, but her right let was torn off so she stuck a tree seed into the stump until a wooden leg grew in its place so she uses a old wizards staff as a cain, her eyes are of two different colours but not in the way you&apos;re thinking (her right eye is her original, a deep yellow sclera with a olive green iris, her left eye once belonged to a human who stabbed out her original left eye with a pair of scissors, so she pulled it out and took it for herself, it&apos;s white sclera with a brown iris) then finally the reason her her name, she lost all her original teeth centuries ago so has taken to using other people&apos;s teeth instead, and she doesn&apos;t care where they&apos;re suppose to go in the mouth, so if you want an audience with her, get her the teeth of people and animals so long as they can fit in a humanoid mouth, that&apos;ll at least allow you past her Scarecrow minions, beyond that, you better do as she asks, or she&apos;ll cut gingerbread-man shaped pieces of your skin, cover them in butter and actual gingerbread, and serve them to the next guests.

  hags are so cool. auntie ethel in bg3 had more going for her than any of the three main villains tbh.

  Hags are such wonderful antagonists for any fantasy game. Just imagine a 5e Green Hag could easily be your low tier BBEG and maybe evolve into a questionable NPC ally. More than willing to offer the party assistance... for a price. And that price could be anything, LITERALLY. Maybe some intangible thing like your sense of humor, or maybe just 1 strand of hair from each member of the party, some simple arbitrary task, something that seems odd, makes no sense, and certainly doesn&apos;t seem to carry any value, leaving your players to wonder what exactly is it she is getting in the exchange. &quot;A potion of supreme healing... In exchange, when next you enter your room in your home, you must walk the perimeter of the interior, counterclockwise, 3 times in succession.&quot; &lt;- WHAT IS THAT!?!? WHAT IS THIS WITCH DOING?!?! &nbsp;So much potential for roleplay.<br><br>I introduced a Night Hag coven in a homebrew adventure, and when I ran Tomb of the Nine Gods, I used them instead of the Sewn Sisters. They have become a recurring antagonist. The party interfered with their work both times, fought with them on the second occasion AND stole a soul bag, a heart stone, and an hag eye, which the party later threw into an active volcano. So now, it&apos;s kind of become a hobby of theirs (The Sisters) to mess with the party. They aren&apos;t out to kill them, not directly anyway, but they occasionally pop up and make them suffer, make whatever they&apos;re attempting more difficult. Also, the party&apos;s been away from their home town for a long time, so... they&apos;ve been laying a curse on Phandalin that they&apos;ll &nbsp;discover once they return.

  I love hags. &nbsp;They are some of the most interesting monsters. &nbsp;I thoroughly enjoyed playing a witch like she was a hag in pathfinder. Unfortunately my Dungeon Master and dear friend passed away. &nbsp;Thank you for putting this video together. &nbsp;It brought back fond memories of those days playing a witch in his campaign! ❤

  By the by, of you want a Hag style character to play for yourself, the Curse of Strahd Character Options are free. Among the lineages is the Hexblood, a character brought into being in some way influenced by a Hag. You get a couple free spells (Hex and Disguise Self) which is always fun, an ability called Eerie Token which allows them both some telepathic communication and remote viewing. And, lastly, their creature type is Fey, so spells like Hold Person technically don&apos;t work on them.

  I&apos;m repeatedly inspired to use creatures I&apos;ve never utilized to their full potential in D&amp;D simply because of gaps of knowledge that I now learn in these videos. I&apos;m always overwhelmingly impressed with the quality of these videos.
