  Another inspirational account by a masterful storyteller. I'm in awe of James Capers Jr. and Team Broadminded who fought so fearlessly and relentlessly, despite serious injuries.  Their brotherly bond and love for one another endures today which is a beautiful thing.

  Not enough Americans people are aware of this man and his story! He’s forgotten more about bad days than 99%of this country have ever had!

  I had gotten out of the Corps in the summer of '80, and lived in 'J'ville, NC.  It was two decades later that I realized that the man and woman I was talking to in that record shop in that tiny mall on Western Blvd, was--lo and behold--Mr. and Mrs. James Capers, USMC.  They were both gentle, serious people that I recall.  And I remember some memorabilia in the store, and asking "Jim" about that, and he related some things he had done, but in a humble, business-like fashion.  It's the dignity about the gentleman (and Mrs.), that I recall, the kind that gently commands respect--and those types of Americans rare!  Unfortunately, we have too many fellow Americans that have come to hate our country, and in their hatred and ignorance, can't really state why! God has the ultimate say-so regarding America, but by crackie, the rest of us Americans will fight to keep it safe and honorable--for every one!  E Pluribus Unum, baby!
