  I love his approach. He&apos;s an awesome teacher. Very calm, non judgemental and encouraging. &quot;Just walk me through how you were doing it before and we&apos;ll make changes.&quot; I wish I had a teacher tell me that. Woulda made a big difference.

  I love how Adam is there just completely going at it with that band saw and then cuts to Victor working so elegantly and quiet LOL

  I really enjoy how the episode began with precise machining of metal to 1/1000th of an inch, and ended with zip tying on bungee cords.

  &quot;The failure modes of a lathe are not friendly&quot;. When I was in high school, one of the windows in the woodwork shop had that glass with wire mesh embedded in it. The top left window had a hole in it about 3 inches in diameter. The teacher always pointed out that hole to new students, telling him that it was made by a piece of wood sent flying by the lathe (which was way over on the other side of the shop).<br><br>I don&apos;t even know if the story was true, but it always made the required impression: don&apos;t take spinning things lightly. I can still see that window in my mind&apos;s eye and that was over 40 years ago.

  This is my favorite tested series in so long. I love that Adam explores his limits and recruits experts to help when necessary. Very instructive

  There is something about a busy shop that I find so satisfying. &nbsp;Especially when your guest can jump right in like they&apos;ve worked there their entire carrier.
