Rob, I just wanted to say that because of the video you made about building an acoustic guitar, I began an apprenticeship as a piano technician three and a half years ago, finished it recently and am now officially certified. This video was the first time I thought about instrument making as a job. So, you changed the course of my life for the better and I just wanted to thank you!

I love that this video has been allowed to be as long as it needs to be.

I like how Fiacha seemed to go from lightly stressed and maybe not used to the questions and videomaking to making puns and doing the day transitions.

Didn't know I needed a 3h video on how a violin is built, but I sure did watch the whole thing.

This building in Chicago is beautiful! Those elevators, the giant staircase, the spooky attic… what wonderful vibes.

What's a violin made of? Just the corpse, the flesh and the blood of a tree... and a little bit of Fiachas face.

This is one of the few things I've watched start to end without checking my phone a single time in recent years. I don't play violin, I hardly ever listen to music that has violins, and yet I loved every second of this. And kudos for that very last shot, panning to Gabe working on the next one.
