Here in Sweden, everyone keeps an eye on the stroller when it is unattended or on the bus/train. We do it unconsciously.

I will not have a British person claim Swedes don't season their food 😂 Been to both England and Scotland and I often wished I at least had some salt and pepper with me... Our traditional foods are not super heavily spiced but a lot of us like spicy foods!

26:50 You say Finns and Swedes have got their hard exterior and introvert nature from the Russians!!!! It's the other way around Dwayne, the Rus people stems from Swedish vikings

Backing up the finns? Hell yes. It's the only other country I would give my life for. Sweden and Finland are eternal brothers. The Ice hockey rivalry is real but in the end I'd give my life for any fin if shit hit the fan.

I'm Norwegian and my fiancé is Finnish! I love Finland and find that we have a lot of things in common between us culturally and "of the mind"/way of being, especially in my area of the country. I wish we would adopt more Finnish things here in Norway - I would LOVE to have a sauna in the apartment complex for example, which they do have there. You have a set time per week that is your time, like you might have a shared laundry room in some older apartment buildings here with timetables. Don't need the latter, but a sauna would be amazing!

Also, try Karjalan Piirakka (small pie/pasty thingies) and/or Finnish Ruispalat (Rye breads) on your next visit to Finland, when trying foods. Yums. Also karjalan stew. If you go during Easter, you may try the famous/infamous mämmi they traditionally eat, some sort of rye pudding - not my cup of tea though!
If you come to Norway, please visit somewhere outside of Oslo! It's okay, but I feel it's not super representative of Norway. Bergen and/or Trondheim would be worth the visit at least. For food here you should try local foods, like reindeer dishes, moose dishes or anywhere that serves fish catch of the day. Eat some "svele" (looks like a thick pancake) with brunost (brown cheese) if you want a sweet baked good, rømmegrøt with spekemat (sourcream based porridge with side of cured meats and flatbread, traditional) if you go someplace that serve that.

We all share this weekend drinking culture, which I think is pretty unique to people in the Nordic countries...

13:59 traditional food tends to use very little spice.. We have herbs, but historically spices had to be imported and were expensive.. Home cooked meals often has more spice 😊

I'm Danish and I can't handle spice very well. An ex of mine, also danish, would maze the kitchen every so often when frying off his chili in the pan. It's very much a personal preference, but many Danes do like spicy food.

Both Sweden and Finland are part of the WRC calendar each year. With one winter rally in Sweden, and a summer rally in Finland. 2 Rallies out of 14 (different countries) in World Rally Championship 2026.

Denmark has oil, like the UK, they have pumped up most. As late as 11 years ago they were self sufficient on oil and gas
