What was the hardest thing for you when you first started pipe smoking? Packing? Keeping it lit? Tongue bite?

I am a cigar smoker that is looking to move to pipes and what brought this on was one day I was sitting on a cigar bar and somebody walked by smoking a pipe and the smell coming off the pipe was very relaxing to where I needed to try it. I am so happy that I stumbled across your channel. Hopefully you could teach me some tricks

Pipe smoking, punishes hurry. Love that! That certainly worded like a preacher. Letting your calling show.

As soon as I thought I had it all figured out, I found out that I didn't. The major breakthrough happened when I learned to enjoy it when that happened. Learning to sit back and have a chuckle at my own little foibles is the greatest gift pipe smoking has given me. Been at it for years and I still screw it up from time to time and you know what? That's OK.

Slowing down is the key for me. I love the “pipe smoking punishes hurry”.  Slowing down over a bowl after a busy day is a great way to decompress.  Smoking time = Thinking time.

Wow brother I was liking the video until you said that the reason we smoke is to "slow down and enjoy God's good gifts" Man now I love it. That's exactly what I think about when I'm enjoying my my pipe with a good smoke in my backyard after a long day of work or just simply on a weekend morning. I can definitely relate. God bless brother!! New sub here!

I'm definitely making a few of those mistakes because I'm barely a week into my pipe smoking journey but I've been doing a lot of research and learning a lot about it too. What I can say is I've really learnt to slow down with pipe smoking and I can't wait to see where I go from here.
