Thanks for show-casing local eats, instead of tourist-driven areas.

Must be so so nice to have these shops near by. I can only dream to even have one of them….

My wife and I will be there in November and this is exactly the kind of thing we want to do. Go somewhere that is not where all the tourists go. Great video

Your neighborhood is so cozy and convenient with everything you need close at hand. It's the kind of place I'd choose to live. All the foods looked delicious, but it was the cong you bing that really made my mouth water--I love scallions! I'd wash that down with some watermelon tea and call it good. Well, maybe a scoop of ice cream would really round it out! 😋I appreciate that you support your local businesses. I'm looking forward to seeing Part 2 of your Nogata tour! Sending love to you both and a special boost of healing energy to you, Shinichi-san. ❤❤✨

These quieter neighborhoods are great to highlight. An international trip can be overwhelming, and a day in a more quiet neighborhood can be a very restful highlight.

What a lovely neighborhood! I would prefer something like this over a busy Harajuku crowd any day.

Wakaayu is the same as chofu, just a different shape. Chofu is one of my favorites (suama is another favorite). I used to bring some to my grandmother when I visited her. She also loved chofu.

My family recently stayed just across the street from the chicken place and didn't go. REGRETS! My son tried the Kebab Sando and Bubble tea and still talks about it. We loved staying in Nogata and there are definitely lots of places to eat. Thanks for your videos..

You are both looking well! I love seeing the different cuisines available in an average Tokyo neighborhood. You are very lucky to live there
