As a former Chef myself i always appreciate the aristry of food from other clutures and this was wonerful to watch, but what made me smile the most was being able to here the families children laughing and parerants having day to day conversations, no shouting no arguing no rude people something that is sorely missed here in the west. Japan is a very special place the people the culture the mutual respect people have for one another. very rare in the time we know live.

My mom always combined the cabbage with the egg and flour mixture. And she would add shrimp. It was simply the best comfort food! But I don't believe she ever added this much cabbage!
