I don't understand the creator of the jumperboard's particular kind of crazy, but I do respect his total commitment to it.

I have a Jumperless. Using it to display connections with LEDs is only 0.1% of the included functionality, like going to the supermarket in a Ferrari. The real power is the scripting: you can do all sorts of tests/measurements, and even change the connections based on those measurements ! It can also replace some music equipment (e.g. analog Matrix Mixer for Eurorack).

I made it to the N on your graph before I bust out laughing in realization.

When the jumperless first appeared I was instantly insanely excited and it only got better as you listed its features, but at the same time it got overtaken by the part of my brain that went "oh this is gonna cost like a bajillion dollars" and it very much does

The Chitu PlateCycler somehow makes me think of old-style vinyl record players that allow you to play an entire playlist by just slapping another goddamn record on top of the old one

Banning a mouse from your daily use because it's right-handed is a pretty sinister thing to do, Zack.

The Jumperless 5 is absolutely insane with the features that it has. Having that in school just for visualization would be absolutely great

Who wants the chitu plate swapper? Like most incomprehensible "make easy task easier" devices, it's an accessibility aid. I've got arthritis and tendinitis, for 80 dollars, I would seriously consider making my first printer an A1 mini JUST for that accessory. Not even for chaining prints, just for getting even one-off plates off to make it easier to get the print off the plate. That's coming from a person who's willing to set Bambu on fire for pulling so much nonsense, that's how seriously life changing some weird ass little devices can be.

It still doesn't help for what the hell I do with the plates after they're off, but when you got this kind of problem, eliminating even one painful step in a process is a victory.

Although I gotta say even as someone who's dead centre in what's probably an accidental demographic for that thing, it's hilarious. I love it.

Chitu stole this product idea from a fellow maker. The original is called Swapmod.
