  I used to deliver food to carriers in dry dock at Newport News shipbuilding. It was fascinating to see them out of the water. I love watching this kind of stuff.

  I reported on board the USS Kitty Hawk when it was in drydock at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.  It was an experience.  Non stop welding made the ship stink of smoke, and the noise was deafening.  After six months, when we floated out, the silence was deafening.

  Great video......I  was in the Navy in the early 70s.  I know what it takes to overhaul a  ship.   It's a tough job and I'm glad we  have the right people to do it!   Thanks for this video and thank  you for  sharing it!!!

  Hello 👋🏽👋🏽 that,s where I live, I enjoy watching a new program and I did subscribe and I did hit the light button because I’ve never been to the shipyard and had never seen exactly what they did even though I know my husband were there, but and I look out among us ships. I never knew they were dead. I was just shocked just looking at your program when Eye Dr. up that area and I see it over there on the wall like this thing but thank you for your channel. It’s so help give me education. Make sure you pass his own to the new folks going up in there.

  The Navy has always been a marvel of engineering. My uncle was stationed at York, Virginia. Check out a 3 part on what the Navy did after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. This was absolutely amazing. I believe the channel name was Drachfinal. (sp) God's many Blessings to all. P.S. Enjoy the channel and thank you.

  OK, this is a strong sales pitch and pr presentation.  I like it.  Further, if I was in the Navy, stationed on one of these big boats (carriers) I would hope they left me on board while in dry dock...the libs would be great!  Join the Navy and see the world...50 miles off shore!  Serious question:  Are those pipes painted purple fuel distribution pipes leading to the flight deck?  The grapes would know!
