  Verification. Verification. Verification. You can verify a persons identity but can&apos;t do the same for their claim. This was a gossip site disguised as a means to keep women safe.

  The Tea app&apos;s biggest mistake was assuming that everyone was honest. The answer to the question &quot;Who would lie about that?&quot; is always &quot;someone.&quot; Someone will lie about that.

  The app wouldve been named &quot;SafeT&quot; if thats what it was about,it got named Tea because its all about &quot;Gossip&quot;. it was never about being Safe,js.

  I have a hard time believing an app called “TEA” was designed for women’s safety. The name is literally slang for the word gossip.

  any app that allows people to anonymously, but publically, insult and gossip about each other, is going to end up like this. no idea why whoever made this app thought it was going to be miraculously different from every other corner of the internet.
