  The mistake was using the argument of “it’s distracting for the boys”, that makes it about girls’ bodies; when in reality it should be “there’s a time and a place” I believe as a society we’ve lost the plot when it comes to dressing according to places and situations, this is the biggest issue

  Honestly, I blame the parents. I grew up without a dress code in the Netherlands and we did NOT go to school looking like we’re about to go clubbing.

  Im 15 and still trying to figure out my personal style. Having no dress codes at schools actually harms students more than they claim it &quot;protects&quot; us. Its not even self expression anymore, everyone is just copying and pasting the exact same outfits

  I loved to have a uniform at school. Not only was it cheaper for the household, but it also blurred the difference between rich and poor kids.
