One thing I like about survival videos is that every situation requires creativity. You never know what challenges nature will bring. This video shows that problem-solving is a huge part of survival. Which challenge was the hardest during this trip? 🤔🔥

You are carrying a saw. A sheepskin, an orange and a few other survival necessities. I am too old to camp like this now. But If I did I would also carry a space blanket or a shower curtain to lay on the roof of the shelter, between two layers of branches. It would stop all air movement through the roof and also stop any precipitation from penetrating.

This is a reupload and slight re-edit of my previous video.
there was no sound from one side.

 Nice video, I enjoyed it!
However, I would try to get to the destination earlier, so I don't have to work after nightfall.

Your realistic survival approach during harsh winter conditions is honestly inspiring tonight outdoors. The mountain shelter appeared strong enough for handling even the worst snowstorm conditions outside completely everywhere nearby.

I would think to harvest the birchbark as I am traveling looking for a place to build my shelter. Better to😢 get it as you are walking than to search in the dark.

Pines always make the quickest shelters. they are warm and use the pine needles for tea
