As a guy who watched every single outdoor boys video and was deeply saddened when he stoped making videos, your the only channel I’ve come across now that I can throughly enjoy. And I disagree with many people. You’re not the outdoor boys… AND THATS WHAT MAKES IT ENJOYABLE!! If I wanted outdoor boys I’d go watch old videos. Keep being you sir and doing your thing!!

Honestly can’t say how much I respect showed how hard the fire starting process can be and why it’s important to have a backup. Like you, many people learn from these videos, so it can be dangerous for someone if a YouTuber makes things looks simple and misleading. Respect to you man!

Thats is EXACTLY why i carry a lighter with me. I think bowdrills, flint and steel, and ferro rod setups are awesome but if you are injured or the weather is crazy or its late or whatever… light it up brother!! Love the realism!

Hey Jarret, love your stuff. Safety tip. When limbing a tree that is lying on the ground, always swing on the opposite side of the tree, take the limbs off, then switch and stand on the other side. Keep the tree between the axe and your legs. Love your videos man.

Save your dryer lint and rub a lot of vaseline on it and keep in a plastic bag to carry with your for an easy starter. We do this when we go camping
