  This is my favorite animated Disney movie for sure. Also if you know Mandy Moore&apos;s lore (husband who tore up her self confidence and caused her to feel shit), the way she sings about being free.. I feel it all the way to my bones. I know this movie had to be healing for her too. *edited to remove incorrect tidbit

  Omg yes!! I love this movie so much, one of the best disney has ever made. The “i see the light” scene changed my brain chemistry and I’m not even kidding

A while back Joan Cusack had a sitcom called &quot;What About Joan&quot; and Donna Murphy played her friend. OF COURSE they had to find a way to get her to sing, so they had an episode where they went to a piano bar and everyone was having a great time but she was too shy, so she came back after closing and sang &quot;Hit Me with a Hot Note&quot;- PLEASE do a reaction to that clip- it&apos;s available right here on YouTube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  This is tied with the og masterpiece - The Little Mermaid in terms of my favourite Alan Menken soundtracks<br><br>Its also a good representation of an abuse parent in a way that kids can understand ansd relate to. It helped me feel less &quot;special&quot;/alone, like &quot;Oh, there are other parents out there who do this too.&quot;
