  I like that you guys are analyzing Branch<br>I know the &quot;singing killed my grandma&quot; scene has long since become a meme but that memory of his is what made him become the grouchy and sarcastic troll he is today. It wasn&apos;t just because his grandma died and left him orphaned to fend for himself, but also because he BLAMED himself all of these years for her death, and felt that he didn&apos;t deserve to sing or be happy because it would get someone else killed as well

  Poppy definitely should have respected Branch’s boundaries more, but she showed genuine caring when he told her about his Grandma, and the hug really says a lot. And in the end, she really did show him how to be happy again, which he needed.

  To me the Bergens and the use of Trolls was like a toxic relationship. One person demanding happiness out of someone. We can&apos;t use people to make us happy, we can be happy with people but we should never ever depend on a person for us to feel alright(therapists notwithstanding)

  I love the trolls movies. They&apos;re simple but they&apos;re hilarious and entertaining, but not in a way that makes me feel stupid, just happy. I think they get better as the series goes on.

  It wasn’t until Trolls 2 that I realized why I liked country music 😅 Branch’s line of saying it’s nice to feel sad sometimes that I realized listening to sad music let me embrace those emotions and I’d never actually realized it before

  the best part about trolls is that by the third movie it&apos;s completely given up on being coherent and just decided to do whatever tf it wanted and honestly that&apos;s why i love it

  I love Poppy and Branch&apos;s growing friendship, though they&apos;re as different as chalk and cheese. He finally sings again, just when Poppy needs it the most, as he realises that she never gave up on him, when everyone else did.
