Hi Dr Sims, is it possible for you to collab with a female fitness trainer over 40, to visually demonstrate different strength training moves, power jumps, HIIT and sprint intervals? Thank you

Ok.. great info. And while I understand your frustration about women's fear, no one is really breaking these things down in terms that general pop understand. This is really scientific which is great but you lose most on these terms they don't understand- and I'm a coach- I have to explain alot to my clients in ways they understand so they get the concept.

My advice is to make your content easier for everyday women who are trying to understand the why.

You will all be pleased to know that regaining that lost strength is really quite easy. Definitely a lot easier than building it in the first place 👍

Oh my gosh, that’s so scary how fast strength is lost over just five weeks 😭 Wishing you a quick recovery!

The French contrast mention stopped me 👀 Heavy set of 3 straight into explosive movement straight into 50% speed work — this is exactly what I've been programming for my more advanced clients over 40 and the power response is unlike anything else 💪

What Dr. Sims describes perfectly is why the journey matters so much before you get here — you can't just jump into French contrast without first building the confidence and technique foundation. Tempo work, learning to lift heavy, understanding reps in reserve — that's the path that makes this possible 🔥

Most women over 40 never get to experience this level of training because they either never started or stopped too early 👀 And that's the part that drives me every day as a coach — closing that gap between where someone is and what their body is actually capable of 💪

I had guys (partners) put me down because I kept my upper body strong . Like I wasn't feminine. I was strong not a heavy weight lifter , but I wish I said F you guys I'll do what I want and I would of done more training. My career required me to be strong. Thank you so much for this advice and information not I'm this age range. 💪🏽😍

I enjoy several lifting sets with small qty of reps - 6-2 upping weight to max (60 kgs in squats in my case, my own weight is 57 kg), then I draw down weights to comfort range and do 6-8 sets/8-10 reps.
