  About the Suica thing: Be aware that the Suica app only works on phones bought in Japan or on iPhones. Android phones bought outside of Japan are lacking the necessary microchip to be able to tap the phone, since Suica doesn&apos;t use normal NFC. So the new app features will most likely not work for frequent visitors with an android phone, since you can&apos;t link Suica card to the app in the first place.

  Oh the memories. I had the JRE Pass and had to bought seat reservation for Nozomi, got bounced between stalls on station for like an hour. When I finally had them and went thru the ticket machine, I had to put in both tickets (JRE-pass and seat-reservation) together, but together like in together. I put in one and quickly followed the other. Wrong! First one got eaten by the machine for being wrong (without the other) and the other got stuck halfway the machine. JRE worker run it, opened the machine and started to disassemble it to free my tickets while apologizing to me the whole time, but it was me who made the mistake , gomen nasai heroic JRE worker.

  As a warning - japanese people normally dont talk on trains, shinkansen and so on. Be respectful with the local „rules“. <br>one day a father „shhh“ their both kids for talking on the train. Habe a great visit 😊
