The last time I went to Japan to get a haircut, the listed price was ¥6,000, but when it came time to pay, they charged me ¥15,000. When I asked about it, they told me that their website says the price for foreigners is ¥15,000. What’s really infuriating is that the entire website is in Japanese, so there’s no way a foreign customer would reasonably know about this beforehand. Honestly, what a fucking disgraceful way to treat people.
