  Number 1 - NEVER discuss politics on Facebook. Number 2 - Facebook doesn’t do well with communication anyway because it’s one-sided comments back and forth and no substitute for a real in-person conversation or phone call. People say things they would never say directly to someone in person. I don’t do Facebook for these reasons.

  Growing up my father was physically and emotionally abusive and I&apos;m not using that term lightly! &nbsp;My mother was submissive so there&apos;s that. &nbsp;I have 3 siblings. My older sister and I only keep in touch between the 4 of us. &nbsp;I married an abusive alcoholic who beat me so bad he busted my jaw and went to jail for 6 mos. &nbsp;We had 4 children together. &nbsp;I protected my children the best I could to where my youngest daughter told me I was smothering. My middle daughter uses drugs and has a drinking problem. Has 2 children. Takes after her dad in where &nbsp;she is abusive to her son. &nbsp;He has anger issues and he&apos;s only 12. Her daughter is very emotionally damaged due to her substance abuse and leaving them all night alone while she is out bar hopping. &nbsp;My oldest daughter is an over achiever and blocked most of her childhood out. She has emotional issues. &nbsp;My son is still trying to get his life together because he lived through the brunt of our horrible marriage. Yes, I blame myself for staying. &nbsp;It ruined my children&apos;s lives and my life. &nbsp;They watched me being abused and I accepted it. &nbsp;They don&apos;t respect me anymore. &nbsp;It&apos;s sad but, it is what it is. &nbsp;I&apos;ve learned to live with the fact that our family is so dysfunctional it&apos;s irreparable. The kicker is, they disowned me but, adore their dad! 😂😂😂

  Speak up and the find a reason to ostrasize you.. just block them and move on. Grieve the loss of them. They are never going to be decent human beings.<br><br>The enablers are just as bad. Your daughters are estranged from you because the family was in their ear. My family is surely trying to get in my daughter&apos;s ears now. Turning the most prized thing you love against you. Horrible. At least leave ppl to their kids.

  Your brother being a Trump supporter is good enough reason to be estranged from him. My best friend is a Trump and Putin Fan and I have not spoken to him in months as he openly talks about how good Trump is etc and even condemns Ukrainian refugee women for coming to the UK and not staying to face the bombs with their men. It sickens me. I will probably never speak to him again.

I am a BAD PERSON. <br><br>They wanted me to be JESUS CHRIST.<br><br>While they themselves were imperfect. <br><br>Never got love from my GRANDMOTHER<br><br>INSTEAD WAS ALWAYS ABUSED. <br><br>MY BROTHER CALLED ME A LOSER. <br><br>ULTIMATELY I JUST AM ESTRANGED. <br><br>I RATHER NOT TALK TO ANY OF THEM. THAT CURSE MYSELF IN THE MIDST OF THEM. <br><br>PEOPLE CAN BE REALLY TOXIC <br><br>MY FATHER IS PROLLY THE WORST FATHER ANY ONE CAN GET. <br><br>HE KNOWS NO RESPONSIBILITY OF RAISING A DAUGHTER. <br><br>INSTEAD HE BEAT ME LIKE A DOG TILL I BLED. <br><br>FAMILY IS NOT ALWAYS FAMILY.

  I walked around on eggshells my whole life. &nbsp;I’ve been described as timid. &nbsp;I’m angry at myself for losing my self-esteem. &nbsp;My self-talk has always been if you don’t get along with your family almost every single one of them, how the heck can you get along with others. I internalized it, blamed myself. I have anger and really out of anger would like to tell some of them you’re the worst thing that’s happened in my life.
