It's ok. We all cried too. That's the right reaction to this song.

This one is powerful. The best comment on tribal conflict, how senseless it is, how much suffering.

I feel you sister. Love from South Africa. This hatred and violence is senseless and just creates more hatred. I don't know why the world chooses war over love.

One of the greatest songs about inherited hatred and violence that I have ever heard.

wow what an amazing soul you have. It hurts, more than anything, to hear a woman cry over war, for some reason, for me. As a man

Some back story to the song the Cranberries are an Irish band from the republic of Ireland which used to be part of the united kingdom until the 1916 uprising which resulted in the partition of Ireland into the independent republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland still part of the United Kingdom this resulted in a conflict known as "the troubles" between the mainly catholic republicans who wanted a united Ireland and the Loyalists mainly protestant who wanted Northern Ireland to remain part of the United Kingdom.
The Cranberries were touring the UK when the IRA a republican terrorist organization set off two bombs on the mainland of the UK in Warrington, Cheshire midday on Saturday, 20 March 1993 Three-year-old Johnathan Ball died at the scene. He had been in town with his babysitter, shopping for a Mother's Day card. The second victim, 12-year-old Tim Parry, was gravely wounded. He died on 25 March 1993 when his life support machine was switched off, after tests had found only minimal brain activity. Another 54 people were injured, four of them seriously.
This incident was the catalyst for the song as a protest to the violence parts of the video clip was filmed in Northern Ireland.

The lyrics are very poignant

Another head hangs lowly
Child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
Who are we mistaken?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family
In your head, in your head, they are fighting
With their tanks and their bombs, and their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head, they are crying

It's the same old theme since 1916
In your head, in your head, they're still fighting
With their tanks and their bombs, and their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head, they are dying
