  Hey Mike great video again😊. I’ve dated a couple of girls and it really does vary. I had a gik arrangement with a girl who always wanted to go to Fuji restaurant because she loved Japanese food. We’d order heaps and it would be pricey and she would comment and acknowledge this. <br>But she would pay every 3rd time or so. &nbsp;Because she considered herself an expensive date! <br>Another girl I dated was very frugal and was always concerned if we were paying too much for food. And she sent absolutely everything she could back to her parents. I also visited the village with her and got to see what she had to deal with when she went home. EVERYONE would ask her for money except her parents. She explained they all really had no concept of money and savings, and everyone she knew in the village just saw her as someone to get money from especially once she was dating a farang. She said it was exhausting and difficult because there were so many people that owed her money that she knew she’d never get back and finally she started saying no. And that created its own set of problems. <br>The guys that get scammed that I’ve known it has more likely been driven by the family back in the village and not the girl. As we know, for a Thai girl family will always come first. And that is fair I think. So a lot of the requests for money are an obedient daughter doing what the family wants her to do.

  Great info! As an Asian woman in the US, I&apos;ve noticed a real contrast between Western dating norms and my traditional cultural expectations. Back home, generosity is huge, and men or older family members usually grab the bill (or we fight over it!). In the US, splitting bills is way more common. It can definitely be confusing to navigate both worlds!
