  I can't fault all these guys for their decisions. No matter what I say no man reading this will listen. Just please for the love of bacon don't complain when the likely inevitable outcome happens. Most guys just can't be alone and enjoy being unattached. The land and houses, her family, her village, her expenses, her childish temper tantrums and pouts and on and on. It's all about her, her and her. That's a lot of work to come 8000 miles for. Good luck fellas!

  That’s a fair assessment I think. They’re not all the same, including bar girls. They want different things and not necessarily the same thing from every man.<br><br>As for the money, Western men are used to relationships with more financial equality. So when we’re in an unequal relationship, it can be difficult for us to know if we’re being used. And even if we suspect we are, our feelings can still get the better of our instincts. &nbsp;It’s not easy, but for anyone looking for love, I would say your best chance is with someone not too young and pretty for you. Which for most retired expats rules out a bar girl, unless she’s old enough to be hanging on by a thread.

  Having just used Koi&apos;s taxi service to get to the pier for Koh Samet and back in the last week l can attest that she is friendly, punctual (no thai time issues) and a safe driver. So l happily recommend her service.<br>Plus you should take her for a nice overnight stay there Pete. It&apos;s only an hour away.

  I like how that book Thai Fever put it: If “love” is deeds based and she is showing you her cards everyday then why would her man not be generous if able?<br><br>It’s good that you mentioned the realities of lying farang and scamming Thai. Navigating an eastern relationship is certainly “fun” and interesting. Thanks for some insight on how to negotiate things.
