An amazing show and an incredible band. <br>I was 16 and there with 10 of my friends. We are still friends today and have tickets to see America again in March 2023! <br>Thank you SO MUCH for posting this and bringing to life the fantastic memories. <br>We are all visible in so many audience shots ... Including our friend, the air guitar player! <br>Cheers to 1979, NY, America, and Great Friends!

The Central Park concerts were legendary. Saw so many great acts there: Peter Frampton, Todd Rundgren, Hall & Oates, Marshall Tucker Band, J. Geils Band, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and so many more. If you didn't want to pay the exorbitant ticket price of three to five dollars (!) you could hang out on the rocks above and behind the rink and listen for free. It was a beautiful vibe to be there and be 18.

They write it, play it, harmonize and its real.<br>No auto tune, no lip synching, no backing tracks.<br>Todays music is utter garbage.<br>I say all the time, thank God i came up when i did.
