There is a constant to this universe...<br>1) Skynet will always rise. Personally i go with my head canon, Cameron said skynet felt bad for killing the humans. So believe it goes back in time as a carrot for the resistance to follow does leading to its downfall everytime. But everytime it finds a new way(the pre self aware version of itself) to reappear does leading to the destruction of everything and the circle continues.
