  It’s not an FGC thing. It’s a culture thing. People just love to hate. Makes them feel smart and soaked in “if it was up to me it would be better” type energy.

  I 100% agree with Max. My idea of the FGC is that feeling we got at the arcade back in the day where we all gathered around a single cabinet just to enjoy a stupid fighting game, hooting and hollering like it was the goddamn Super Bowl. That shit was beautiful. That's the FGC.

  More and more feels like the FGC doesn’t actually play fighting games anymore. People spend more time engaging in discourse about the games than just finding a community for a game they actually do like.

  This conversation could apply to ALL forms of media tbh. Music, Games, and Movie conversations do not seem to be truly community based anymore. Everything is just about "Discourse".
